Let me start off by saying I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs. So, you’ll have to excuse me if I seem a little biased here.

My latest blog post was originally slated to recap the Hartford Scramble Race that I just participated in. However, as I was about to jot down my thoughts I came across this article from ABC News about a dog named Dozer that recently completed a 1/2 marathon in Maryland.

Ok, so he didn’t finish the whole race, but damnit, after eight-miles without any food or water he crossed that finish line, which in the end is all that matters. On top of that, his effort has raised more than $17,000 for cancer research.

So to my furry little four-legged friend that I’ll probably never have an opportunity to meet…. my paw goes out to you. And of course, thank you for being one of my inspirations to complete Oct.’s 1/2 marathon.  After all, if a dog can do it…

Until later,
