Over the weekend, I received the June edition of Runner’s World magazine. While enjoying yet another stellar pancake breakfast (it’s my weakness), I came across an article highlighting the “Do’s” and Don’t(s)” of traveling for a race. It’s an excellent read that got me thinking about how much fun it would be to see different cities, states, etc., through running. In fact, it made me start a list and commit to running races in at least five different locations outside of Connecticut in 2012. So far, I have one (the Rock N’ Roll half marathon in Washington, D.C.) . Hey, you’ve gotta start somewhere…

Do you have recommended locations I should consider? And what are your favorite places to race?
